I recently purchased a second copy of LEGO Technic set 42163 to use for a MOC, prior to doing this, I decided to build a C model which was published on Rebrickable by mic8per.
The build didn't take long and while it looks good, both the "features" are manual, you just push them up and down. No use of gears or levers at all. After playing with this for a short period, I have broken it down and am using the parts for a MOC.
